The Chicken Pie Supper
St. Peter's Famous Chicken Pie Supper is an annual opportunity for the Parish to work together to raise funds for St. Peter's programs as well as to introduce the larger community to St. Peter's hospitality and good food. Many visitors who visit the area to enjoy the autumn foliage come to the Chicken Pie Supper to make their visit to Bennington complete.
Chicken and biscuits, gravy, squash, mashed potatoes, cabbage salad, apple crisp with real whipped cream, beverages and more are featured at this annual event. Volunteers from the Parish make all of the food served at the Chicken Pie Supper. Traditionally, the Chicken Pie Supper is held in early October on the Saturday a week before the weekend of Columbus Day . There are seatings at 5:15 and at 6:30 PM. Reservations should be made by calling St. Peter's Church Office at (802) 442-2911. The Supper sells out quickly so calling to make reservations is highly recommended.
